FLEET MANAGEMENT DIVISION

Division Goal: To deliver world-class management and maintenance processes that reduce fleet operating costs and extend equipment life.

About the Division

Our internal processes seek to reduce maintenance costs through continuous improvement and extend equipment life by providing world-class quality services and support. Whether we’re preparing the Army’s equipment to take our soldiers into combat or servicing an administrative vehicle for a customer, Skookum’s maintenance employees apply the same high level of professionalism.

Skookum's Fleet Management Division is committed to providing safe operational equipment to the customers at Fort Lewis. We will provide our customers superior service while maintaining a positive and supportive environment for our workers. We will work to sustain our future at Fort Lewis by continually improving our processes and providing our customers‚ quality services and support, thereby furthering the social mission of the Skookum Corporation.

On a daily basis, our mechanics, autoworkers and auto helpers perform maintenance on over 40 different models of equipment that includes generators, 2Kw-100Kw; HMMWV's; 5 Ton trucks; HEMTT's; material handling equipment; engineer or Construction equipment; and many more. All Technicians are encouraged to acquire the ability to work on all of these different models.

At Fleet Management, all of our employees come together for one common goal -- to provide the best possible product and service for the soldiers at Fort Lewis.
