Skookum Educational and Employment
Services works with local businesses to create job opportunities for
people with developmental disabilities or other barriers to employment.
Our Job Coaches assist individuals who have the potential for
independent employment, but need specialized, short-term, on-the -job,
support and training to succeed.
Clients are referred to our unique and
special program from various sources (listed below) and are also
welcome to apply independently.

Our professional staff helps clients
obtain jobs that match their abilities and interests. The program
supports workers by helping them to develop employment related skills,
access community resources and to obtain follow up services, if needed.
We respect the dignity of each individual and offer a flexible support
structure to assist each client in reaching his/her greatest potential.
